If so, how easy was it to get a ride at around 1am?

We are doing a Universal trip late August and arw considering one of the Boo Bash parties, but will need to rely on a ride share to get us back to Cabana Bay after the party. How feasible will this be?

There should be no issue given that this is a planned event and drivers will know about it and want to be available to pick up riders.

Sorry for bringing up an old thread but I’m curious if you went ahead and did this and how it worked out for you?

Ive tested the Uber app at 1:00 a few times and looked like I could get a ride quickly but interested in real examples.

Thanks.

The question isn't really if you'll be able to get a ride but will dynamic pricing result in $$$. Make sure you have both and lyft and Uber apps installed. Decide what you will do if the price is too high. Suck it up. Wait and hope for the best. I don't know how late the bars and quick service stays open at the Contemporary. A place to kill time BUT after an afterhours party waiting a half hour or more might not be fun. I'd budget almost double the normal fare. You probably won't need it.

I thought of that and is another reason I’ve checked the app at 1:00 of a party night to test but in the end I’m not really concerned about price all that much.

I’ve considered just paying for a car service but my concern there is it ties me to leaving at a specific time if I book something in advance and I don’t really care to do that. I just want to leave when I’m done.

No, we ended up cancelling our trip.
