Anyone take their wireless router to OKW or other DVC resort?

Hi all! My DH wants to take our wireless router to OKW in a few weeks. We have 2 laptops. I will most likely not take mine out of the case other than to use the DVD player on the plane, he on the other hand will proabably mess around on his at night when the kid's go to bed (We will be paying the $9.95 per 24 hours regardless). He is trying to get a business started and might have some work to do. Anywhoo, just wondering if we can use our wireless router in the room so we can sit out on the balcony and surf the net? Is this allowed by Disney? Thanks!

I just posted in a different thread. Mine (airport) worked fine at VWL a few weeks ago.

I took a wireless access point to BWV shortly after they installed the broadband Internet connection. It worked fine. I was told by others on the board that a wireless router might not work ... something about having 2 routers on the same line. I picked up a wireless access point for $15, set it to only communicate with my laptop, and was off to the races.

If they wanted to, they could me it tougher for you to use your router, but there are ways around it.

The issue would be if the Terms of service state that you could not use a router or WAP. No you have a choice to make.
