Anyone Still Waitlisted Suite Ca Cruises?

Just wondering if anyone is still waitlisted for a cat 1, 2 or 3 for the 2005 California cruises. We are still waitlisted for 5/28.

We are on 8/20 repo cruise and waitlisted for Cat. 2 & 3 (booked within 30 minutes). I have chatted with different CMs who have not been all that positive about the possibility of a waitlist opening up, but I suppose they cannot give false hope to those of us wanting some inkling of knowledge about the timeline for the waitlist. One CM emailed Inventory Control for me and I got a call back message from someone there who said that waitlists weren't looking good (meaning they were not going to open up, for me at least!) for my particular cruise...BUT I am still hoping for a little magic to happen!

We are waitlisted for a cat 1, 2, or 3 for the 6/4 cruise. I hope it happens but I doubt it will. We didn't get on the waitlist until about 10 days ago.

We had been waitlisted for the 5/28 trip for a Cat 3 since the first day they went of sale.

We just got called yesterday by DCL to let us know that we could have it.

Was spendy...but we are confirming on Monday.

I wasn't sure they would call. But they did.

rocknty, that's great to hear. It gives me hope. Have they already let you know which cat 3 you will get?

I believe we got on the waitlist 5/10. I'll keep my fingers crossed.

I saw in an e-mail All Seas Travel has a cat 3 for 5/28 and cat 1 for the 5/14 repo. It never occured to me a travel agency would book the suites for themselves.

I'm curious how this would be possible? You can't change the primary name on the reservation I thought, so therefore a travel agent/company shouldn't be able to have a suite in "their" name?

Maybe I'm just bitter since I couldn't get the room I wanted?
