Anyone staying at Shades of Green in May ?

Kona is not a character meal, it's in the Polynesian resort, right beside Ohana. The breakfast is really good there and if you have a sweet tooth you must try the tonga toast.

It's also reasonably priced for a good breakfast. I think it cost me $22 last time and that was two adults, both of us getting drinks as well.

Love the Tonga Toast but decided not to get it anymore because I can barely make a dent in the thing and it feels too heavy for me once I get walking around in the parks.

My Trip:
- May 24-31 at SOG
- Me, DBF, DBFs older brother (sgt in reserves), DBFs sister in law, DBFs neice (4) and nephew (6), DBFs sister, DBFs younger brother and DBFs younger brothers DGF.
- First time at SOG.
- First time to Disney for: DBF, DBFs sister and DBFs younger brother.

I'm so excited to stay at SOG, and even more excited to show DBF around Disney world for his first time ever!

When we check in, were picking up our park hopper passes and heading to Epcot !

Me and my fiance aren't actually staying there for the most part. We're spending the night of May 5th there though. Then May 6-9 at the Polynesian, May 9 I'm at Old Key West, he's at SOG, and May 10th on is our honeymoon. My family is mostly staying at SOG, along with our wedding party.

We are getting married at SOG near the Gazeebo at 5pm on May 10th, so will be around the property a lot in the days prior... Say hi if you see me around the wedding day though.

Will you be getting your official welcome???

I don't arive until the 25th, so fortunately, these new closings won't affect my family (unless the work runs behind schedule).

If anyone was really interested in the Nine Dragons Restaurant, it looks like the start date was pushed back to May 29, so it should still be open during most of May.

We have been to Nine Dragons before and didn't like it at all. But glad to see others who are going in May will still be able to enjoy it !

WOW where did the time go! Seems like just yesterday we had a countdown chain starting at 100 all the way around our doorway, now its down to a month and a week! I'm starting to get nervous about things (first trip) . .. does the place where you buy your tickets from at SOG except credit?? just want to double check
