Anyone staying at Shades of Green in May ?

I happen to "steal" a bunch of green mickey heads myself, so I think I'll stick mine on the door also! Who is the lucky one who's trip is the closest?? I leave a month from tomorrow !

I know the other Disney resorts allows you to decorate your doors and windows. Does SOG allow it to? I hope so, that would be so cool :cool1:

We always decorate our room at Pop. More than likely I will try to figure out a way to put something on our window at SOG as well. We're all getting closer and closer !

The problem with decorating at SOG is it is a Deluxe resort and you have the interior hallways... so it is hard for people to see your windows.... unlike POP where they walk right by......but decorating it for yourself is fun.... even if your the only one who can enjoy it!!!:thumbsup2

Depending where you room is ppl from the golf course, the pool or other outside areas could see the window displays. For those of us that likes to walk around the outside of SOG might enjoy the window displays.

Of course, since this is not a Disney own resort, I will probably check with the manager to ensure it's okay to do this.

We're flying from west Africa (by way of Paris and Atlanta - it's a long trip with three little ones), then renting a car for the week. A Disney cruise follows and then it's off to San Antonio to see the in-laws, and finally Washington DC to see my folks. A nice long R&R coming up.

I finally got organized enough to call for ADRs today. Only about 45 days out, I was surprised to be able to find a lot of my first choices, including Princess Storybook dining at Akershus twice (one on Memorial Day - maybe the most crowded day in May) and California Grill. On the other hand, I was surprised that I wasn't able to get Coral Reef dinner for either day we would be at Epcot (completely booked except for one time slot - during Illuminations).

Anyone have any problems with ADRs?

I booked mine about 45 days out too. I was able to get Coral Reef and Ohana for 8:00 which is not good but we'll take it. I had no problems at all w/ Japan and Boma. They are both for 6:30. I could not get Le Cellier (no surprise here), the norway breakfast or CRT so we went w/ 1900 Park Fare.
I'm happy. I'll probably end up changing them anyway.
I can not wait to eat my way through WDW:goodvibes

Mine is the onion ring tower and the raspberry swirl (pina colada and raspberry daqueri).

What does everyone else like?

my son is totally into monster trucks so i'm sure we'll be spending some time by them at SOG . Anyone know how much its cost per turn?

I can't believe how fast this trip is coming up ! I have so much to still get done !
