I am wondering what the muster station is for these rooms as we will have my elderly parents with us in one of the rooms and my mother has to stay out of the sun due to sun cancer. I'm hoping it will be inside:confused:

Also if anyone has stayed in or near these rooms lately I would love to hear your review on the rooms and location. Pretty close to the elevators---the only thing I worry about is alot of noise in the hallway since it is right as you turn the corner to go down the hall---Anyone know??? Thanks a bunch!!:sunny:

I was in 7020 so I can't say whether it is close enough to your rooms to be at the same muster station as 7020. I can say that I suspect that you will be outside on the 4th floor, port side, below the cabin. Whether you will be in the sun depends on the time of year you are on the ship and the angle of the sun. We sailed in July, and the sun was still pretty much overhead. Because of that, the overhang above deck 4 left us still in the shade. Really depends on the season, though.
You line up with the smallest, shortest in front and tallest against the wall, looking towards the water. If it is only your parents in the cabin, they will be pretty close to the wall and furthest from the sun.
Make sure your mom wears a hat and the short time will be over quickly

Hi! We just got back from room 7040 and our friends had the adjoining 7042. We had station D for our drill; it is outside but it is in the shade, I believe it was on deck 5 (I'll check with DH).

The room was beautiful; very close to elevator and stairs, and very convenient. We did not have any problem with noise--I would definitely stay in this room again!

HTH!

We were in 7040 & 7042 in Feb. Great location, would/will definately stay there again.

Muster station was outside deck 4 on the port side(left) so we were in the shade. We were able to watch the drill on the Carnival ship as we did our drill. You don't realize how funny a bunch of orange ants look until you have seen it.

Thanks so much everyone for your replies!!:sunny: Looks like hopefully we will be in the shade in January and in a good location. I feel better now about our location and I think it will be good for my parents who are elderly to not have to walk so far to get to their cabin.:sunny:
