Anyone stayed at VB before or after DCL?

We have our next cruise booked in May 2012 and we are considering a stay at VB probably afterwards as we want a quieter few days than staying at WDW. We thought of staying at WDW and not doing parks, but are afraid the draw will be too great. Anyhow, for those who have done it, how convenient or inconvenient was it to do VB before or after a cruise? Would you do it again? This would be our first VB trip and I have always wanted to try it. TIA!

we stayed for 5 days after doing a 7 day cruise. It was VERY relaxing. We love Vero. The only downside - tropical storm and it rained and I mean poured for 3-4 of those 5 days.

We stayed Pre-Cruise last year. Very nice start to our vacation. Would do it again.

I think that May is one of the nicest months at VB. Have fun!

Thank you everyone, I think we may try it! We want to end our vacation in a relaxing way as much as we can since the flight back to Seattle always ends our trip a little stressful as it is!

We have been on seven DCLs and have stayed most of the time before or afterwards at VB. We enjoyed the resort very much and will do it again.
