Anyone stayed at the new Staybridge Suites Buffalo Airport?

I've been having a tough time finding a park n fly deal at a suite style hotel for our trip in early December. We love the Homewood Suites, but they want over $200 for our date! I just discovered that there is now a Staybridge Suites Buffalo Airport. It's a little farther away than we'd like (about 5 miles), but they have a park n fly deal with a shuttle and the price is more reasonable at $140. Has anyone stayed at this hotel? If so, what was your experience? Thanks!

I have not stayed at this Staybridge Suites, but the brand is part of the IC hotels group (Holiday Inn etc.) I've stayed at Staybridge before while on business in the US. There's even a couple in Canada now. It's more of a long-term stay place with maid service once per week. Included is a continental breakfast every morning that I have found quite decent. Some evenings after 5:00 they have a 'Manager's Cocktail Night' where each guest can get 1 or 2 free beers/wines from 5-7. Some hors d'oeuvres would also be available.

Thanks for letting me know about this option! We're looking for a Park & Fly for our trip this December!

Thanks for the response! I think it must be brand new, because I don't think I came across it when I first started looking into rates for this trip. We're going to give it a try. My only concerns are the distance from the airport (says it's 5 miles) and what arrangements they have for long term parking for the car, but given the price differential, it's certainly worth a try.

Have never stayed there, but have stayed at the Holiday Inn Express right at the airport, it is a very nice hotel, pool, shuttle breaky.

ALso we mostly stay at the Sleep Inn, breaky and shuttle. Hotel is not as nice but still more then sufficient, since basically we show up and go to sleep.

For our next trip for something different we are staying at the Days Inn right across the street....looks OK, hope it is ..:confused3

Have a great trip regardless of where you stay!!!

Not sure if it's just increased occupancy you are looking for but I believe Sleep Inn, which is right across from the airport offers suites with an occupancy up to 6 for the same or less $$.

We always stay here when we need to use a hotel the night before. It's inexpensive, has a nice breakfast, secure parking lot and it's really close the airport.

Thanks! I did find the Sleep Inn when I was looking (in fact, I think we might still be holding a reservation there while we decide). The price is the same as at Staybridge. We'd prefer a true suite, with a separate bedroom rather than just a room divider because we'd like the kids to go to bed early. But, now that JetBlue has changed our departure to 7:05 a.m., proximity to the airport is becoming more important, so we may have to go with Sleep Inn.
