Hey guys, just checking if anyone has any feedback on staying nearby Disneyland Paris (~30 min walking distance). Was it a burden to carry luggage that long of a path?

The partner hotels are about a 30 minute walk, I think, but there is also a free shuttle. And the ones in Val d'Europe are 1 subway stop away, costing a few euro (not exactly sure how much, but Paris -> DLP is €2.50)

So, what is the plan?

To be honest, not too sure. Looking to do a spontaneous 1 day disneyland paris trip over the weekend from Germany. So looking to fly in Paris CDG. I am not quite convinced on spending the extra $ to stay at a disney resort or stay off property. My biggest concern is how difficult is the train system?

Are you used to travel by public transport? It is not more complicated than other big cities.

If you look at the metro map of a big city like Paris, Tokyo or London, it seems daunting. But you don't have to figure out yourself which line to take or when to change, Google Maps will do that for you. Just follow instructions. If you ever took a public transport, you can take le metroʻ in Paris.

I have stayed at the Radisson Blu Hotel, which is quite close to DLP. The roads around DLP are not really walking friendly but this hotel has a shuttle leaving every 30 min. It’s a 5 min drive to the bus station at DLP and this shuttle aren’t shared with other hotels. This is for me the biggest selling point for this hotel since shared shuttle busses tend to be very buzy.

It was...... But there are very good bus services between the villages around DLP.

I've been looking into this as well. I'm staying at Relais Spa. I thought about just walking over there after I exit the TGV train.

They have a shuttle bus. It's call on demand when you need them. I think I'm going to call them on my arrival day to pick me up from train station or the DLP drop off location.

Its a long(ish) walk. Maybe 30 mins. They do have a shuttle van for their guests. When you book with the hotel you can ask the receptionist how it works. I've had friends stay there. They said the shuttle service was easy and handy.....
