We were thinking about staying at Comfort Inn/Suites Maingate or Maingate East. Anyone stayed at either of those places before? Which one is best? Were they clean and nice like Comfort Suites usually are? Thanks so much!!!:wizard:

I am wondering the same thing? We are staying 2 night s before Disney at the Comfort Inn Suites on Irlo Parkway(i think that is they way to spell it) and would love any informtion about it also!:thumbsup2

I have stayed at both in the past 18 months. The CSMGE is by far the best of the two. The room is larger and has a proper kitchenette area. The Maingate location is also good but we much preferred the east.

It looks nicer on the web site. I just found out I can get CSMG for $20.00 cheaper a night. Is CSMG nice besides the rooms being smaller, etc. is it still a good safe hotel? Thanks!

WE stayed three times at Maingate East, although the last time was May 2004. It was very nice. Clean. Rooms were big. Free breakfast buffet was great. Location was good.

We've stayed at the Comfort Suites Maingate East four times since 2003. Rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable, and the free breakfast each morning is a plus. Location is excellent - only a few minutes from Disney. Our only complaint would be the slow elevators.

We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a reasonably priced, clean hotel when visiting the Orlando area.

My mother and sister stayed at the Comfort Suites Main Gate East and really enjoyed it there. The rooms were spacious and they loved the pool area and the complimentary deluxe continental breakfast. The make your own waffles were a big hit with them.

We stayed at Maingate East in 2002 and have booked it again for this October. It has free shuttles to all the parks and the breakfast was really good. the pool is also open 24 hours which was nice when just my hubby and i went in 2002 and felt like a laaaate night dip. It is also a newer hotel. (2000)
