Anyone stay recently at Desert Inn and Suites?

I have a Suite booked for our family's trip in March and my IL's have a regular room. Unfortunately they won't be anywhere near each other but oh well.

We still have plenty of time to look around but the price was so good for our suite I went ahead and booked it. We're paying about $450 for 5 nights.


We only need clean and comfortable beds. I've read reviews that the beds were awful and that they weren't.

Anyone stay there recently who can give a review?

We were there in late October in a family suite and I'm of the opinion that the beds are on the firm side but not awful. We traveled with 7 adults and 3 kids and no one complained about the beds. And we're planning another stay there this fall so for us the beds are not a problem at all.

The beds at DI&S are firmer than my bed at home. While the beds at Hojo's (that are often talked about here and are oh so wonderful) are softer than my bed at home.

We stayed there the end of Nov for 7 days...Had a suite with 4 queen beds. I have kids from 14 to 22 and no one complained about the beds. Rooms were updated and clean. We had a lot of room. With 4 adults and 1 teenager it was heaven not tripping on each other. The walk to the parks it also a plus!

We stayed there several nights in early November. The beds seemed fine to us and the hotel was clean. We're planning on staying there again on a trip or two next year as well!

I think the beds are firm but not hard. My daughter who has a super pillow top bed, complained that her back hurt on our 3rd day (after 2 nights).

We have a super pillow top bed, I love soft and Hojo's beds were awesome. I'm ok with firm, but I can't do hard. Hopefully it won't be too bad.
