Anyone stay over night in Kingsland Georgia

I'm thinking about stopping here overnight on our upcoming trip. Can you recommend a nice place to stay?

We have stayed at a Holiday Inn there, Nice and I would recomend it, but there are lots of other choices and lots af places to eat. In general it seems to be a nice area and all motels seem OK.

We used to live in Kingsland! I haven't been there in years, though, since my husband is no longer in the Navy. The Holiday Inn is very nice, we stopped over there on our way to Disney once. The Ramada is NOT, it was gross.
While you are there, try eating at St. Mary's Seafood if you are a seafood lover, it's the best!

The Super 8 was nice too, but that was a long time ago when it was new.

We stop there all the time, love the Country Inn & Suites!

stay never the interstate and you'll avoid that awful paper mill stink! My stepson was stationed at the base there and we made the mistake of getting a "cheaper" room at a place we weren't familiar with. Wow, did that place reek!


I second the St. Mary's Seafood suggestion. We've eaten there several times and the food is very good.
