Has anyone ever stayed in room 6562 on the Wonder. I am curious how it was since it is so close to the elevators. Due to its proximity to the elevators I thought about requesting a change, but now would just like to know if its real noisy. Hubby has trouble sleeping when we go away, so it could be a problem for him. Any help is appreciated. Kathy

Hi Kathy-

We are staying in this cabin in 12 days on the Magic. I would love to let you know how it goes. We had the same concerns about noise and proximity to the elevators but I have read two or three other posts about cabins at the elevator lobby and all of them said noise was not a problem. I actually had most people report that they loved the location as far as convenience is concerned. We are traveling with my mother who has an old ankle injury and I think this will be a great location.

Good Luck- Happy Cruisin' MNmom:jester:

 MNmom, thanks for posting. I look foward to hearing how you liked the room. I initially thought it was great to be so close to the elevators, but than  I thought about the noise! LOL! Personally, I'll probably be 2 busy to sleep much & of course the same for the kids. But, nothing stops my hubby from getting his beauty rest! Kathy :sunny:

We stayed in room 6562 on the Wonder in July and loved it! We didn't hear any noise from the hallways or elevators. It was very convenient coming right off the elevator and having your room right there. I tried to book the same room again for our upcoming Wonder cruise but it was already taken.

We stayed in 6558 our friends were in 6562. I don't recall much noise. No elevator noise at all ever, they are very quiet. The only thing would be kids in the area around the elevator, you just tell them to go somewhere else if that happens. We left our verandah door cracked open and hear the waves all night, it rocked us to sleep. You will be so tired from the day activities and not to mention the night time parties, you will crash and fall sound asleep. I always have trouble sleeping away from home and had no problems at all. Sweet dreams!!:o ;)

Hello, My family of 4 stayed in this room last March on the Magic. We loved it so much that we are staying in the same location this March. It is so convenient for stairs and elevator but no noise from the latter. It is fairly spacious and the cases go under the bed if you lift it up first. Enjoy

Thank you all for your responses. I feel much better now & really can't wait for our Cruise. It has already reasurred my hubby. And RCdisneyfan, I love your idea about leaving the door open a bit so you can have the waves lull you to sleep. You can be sure, my hubby will want to do that! Thanks, again. Kathy:cool:

We sailed 11/29 on the 3 day and we loved the location . We liked it so much we rebooked the room next door for our 7 day cruise in Dec.!!

Happy sailing! How I'd love to be there at this very moment!!
