Anyone stay at Sheraton's Vistana Resort Recently?

We're going in a month & will be taking the time share presentation to get a great rate on the room. Just wondering if anyone has been there recently. I haven't seen any reports on this facility for a couple of months.

Thanks harvey - I did see your post earlier. I had thought that there were several people staying at the SVR in February and early March. Just wondering how things went. We are scheduled for the second week of April & I'm wondering how high pressure the times share presentation will be.

We were never approached about seeing a presentation, so I can't help you there.

We got a really great rate by agreeing to see their presentation - $67 per night for 4 nights...

We did the timeshare in jan and it was very low key, no pressure. In fact we enjoyed the presentation and free breakfest just to name a couple perks!

I am also really excited about staying at Vistana Resort. I'm staying for 5 days in July at a total of 259 for a 2 bed 2 bath. Plus a 100 gift certificate for the parks. I don't think that doing the tour could be all that bad. (At least I hope not) I scheduled the tour first thing in the a.m. so that we have the rest of the day for ourselves.

My husband's family owns 3 weeks there, so we go as much as we can. They own in different sections, but we like to stay in the palms unit. Palms is older, but our unit is just gorgeous. They keep it up very well and we're quite content there. We like the layout of that unit very much. We just got home last Sunday. Our one problem was that the unit owner below us lent his week to his college aged daughter who brought her 7 very loud friends to Vistana for spring break. They really annoyed my in-laws since they partied a lot on their screened in porch - right below the master suite. However, we did call security and they put the kobosh on it right away.

We really love Vistana and feel so at home there.
