Stay at Quality Suites The Royale Parc Suites
It says
near Disney World
few mins. from seaworld, universal
How is the hotel
Would you stay thier again
and any other information.
thanks

We (family of 4) stayed at the Royale Parc Suites December of '09 for two nights prior to our Poly stay. It was very roomy as we had the 2 bedroom suite. Nothing fancy, but the money (I think about $119 a night) was right. There is a 7-11 behind the place where we could walk to buy beer and typical convenience store stuff. The breakfast was quite lacking, but my kids just needed a bowl of oatmeal and some milk and they were ready to go. DH and I are not big breakfast eaters anyway. The pool wasn't crowded, but it was also December. It is definitely driving distance to everywhere, but not exactly as close as I would have thought from their marketing. I would stay there again for the money and space, but not for the atmosphere. Hope this helps.

We stayed there last Dec. for 5 nights. We didn't go to the parks but toured some of the resorts and went to DTD. I felt it was convenient to everyplace.

We enjoyed the hotel itself. The suites were very comfortable and clean. YES we would stay again and are this Dec.. We booked for $89. a night for this year and $79. last year. The breakfast was fine. We love the fresh waffles so we were set. We also enjoyed the free happy hour each evening (beer, wine and soda)

Any more questions, feel free to ask.

jms920 or anyone. Did they really have free transport. to Disney/Sea World/ Universal. And how often did they run a van or bus to these places. And was it just one bus/van for all these place or a one van/bus runs to disney one to sea world one to universal.
Thanks

My boyfriend and I stayed here last year in December. This hotel is rated a 3 star, but I think that's a bit generous. The rooms are spacious but look very worn. For example, our washroom had a huge crack in the wall, the paint was chipping and the carpets in the bedroom were very dirty. Not to mention the pots, pans and utensils provided were warped and mismatched and the refridgerator was wobbly. Also, when we checked in there was a dirty pad in the garbage from the previous guests.

I don't recall exactly if/when the shuttles go to Universal Studios or Seaworld, but I do know that Epcot is the only Disney World park they travel to. From what I remember, the buses run very infrequently and at peculiar times (such as 1 hour before Epcot opens, once or twice in the late afternoon and another shuttle 1 hour before the park closes).

I think for the price cost (roughly $80/night), you could easily find better hotel. We're going again this year in December and have just booked Double Tree by Hilton at Seaworld. There's not a lot of info on it on this site but hopefully it's better! :)

I'm sorry, we didn't use the shuttles so didn't pay attention. Maybe someone else can help there.

monkeegirl1, I'm sorry you had this experience. This is totally opposite what we had. Our suite looked newly renovated. Furniture and carpets were very clean. I admit, I didn't use the pots and pans but the cups and silverware we used were in perfect condition. (anyplace, I always was them myself before using) The bathroom didn't look new but no cracks or obvious damage and it was clean. I hope we're as lucky this year!

We have stayed at Royale Parc Suites for 8 of the last 11 trips to Orlando. We have always really enjoyed most aspects of the hotel.
That said, last year we did have some issues that needed to be addressed. The front desk did ok, but really the rooms could've been cleaner. Some rooms need a refurb I guess....just like Disney! We just stayed at POR and will NEVER go back. Dirty, small, and just not our thing. We'll be back at Royale Parc Suites on our next vacation.
We've never used their transportation, so I can't comment on that. The breakfast and manager's reception have always been nice. Its also very close to Walgreens and Publix along with Old Town and other shopping areas. It was closer to WDW to stay at RPS than it was to stay on-site for us. :confused3
Overall, I'd stay there again and again. I know their are issues, but they are quite good at resolving them. For the space that you get, you can't beat the price.
The pool is decent, but nothing fabulous (although WDW's resort pools weren't amazing either!). The water was a little cold for my liking in November of last year.
Best of luck with your choice. I hope you have a great visit! :thumbsup2

We didn't like The Parc Suites at all. We have stayed at The Comfort Suites in Old Town just up the road and found that much nicer.
