Anyone stay at Quality Suites CB pre/post cruise?

Trying to find a hotel to atleast book at a reasonable rate in hopes of finding a better deal and being able to cancel. Anyone stay here, they are onceanfront, offer a shuttle and free parking to port and a cont. breakfast and only $99.00. Too good to be true?

Quality Suites is owned by the same corportation as the Radisson of the Port and the shuttle is run from the Radisson - Quality Suites is a fairly new motel and is close to a number of things, BUT NOT THE PORT - in fact you would be hummmm maybe about 5 miles from the port - you are close to the beach. If you are looking for a reasonable place for just the night and want to take a cab to the port, you should look into the Motel 6 which is right on A1A - one block from the beach and also close to shopping, restaurants etc - someone I recommended it who was just looking for an inexpensive place, went for it and I believe she told me she paid less than $60.00 - one of the things that must be remembered that with the shuttle launching coming up and other functions, accomadations are going to be harder and harder to find for reasonable prices - we do have 2 new motels going up and one should be ready within a couple of months (this is also owned by the corporation that owns the Radisson and the Quality Suite) ---is beginning to look nice and it is right next door to Ron Jon's and is on A1A.

Thank you Shirley for the reply! I was looking into using Arts transportation if I had a hotel without shuttle service. Any thoughts on their service?

I grew up in Orlando and CB was my "stomping" ground so to speak, but I won't say how many years ago that was! Last time I was there to visit was in 96. I have a pretty good idea of the area but not of the condition of the hotels, especially after the hurricanes that rolled through there last year. I found some good deals on EasyClickTravel.com for the Holiday Inn and the Hilton...know those are down the road a ways from the port but don't mind so much for a mile or two if it saves me some $$. Any idea how these 2 hotels are now after the hurricanes? Thanks again!
