Anyone stay at Holiday Inn & Suites on Kirkman Rd?

We stayed there a couple if years ago and thought it was great.
Not sure what room you've got but we went for a one bedroom suite which was only a few more $ per night which I would thoroughly recommend. Its really nice to have the room to spread out and relax. The rooms were just refurbished so were very nice and clean. Location is good for Universal just opposite the back entrance - you could walk it but there is a regular shuttle bus that drops you off right outside.
Ive heard people complain about the staff but we found them to be polite and helpful although not quite as cheerful as on site at Disney.
We would definitely stay there again.

Its me again, dont worry, the hotel is fine. As a reference we normally stay on site at the BC, WL, PO and we still found this hotel to be nice. Its not themed like a Disney hotel, but its clean and nice with good rooms and the Worlds biggest TGI Fridays as its restaurant.
If we were staying in the I Drive area again it would be first on the list after the Universal Stuidios hotels. Not sure where you've stayed before but again as a reference its much (much much)nicer than the Quality Inn International which is a very popular choice in the I Drive area, all IMHO of course.

Are you a Holiday Inn Priority Club member? If not, you can sign up for free on the HI website. Most HI hotels give you extra perks and upgrades for free if you're a member (free room upgrade, late checkout, free newspaper, etc.). Keep in mind that most of them don't offer, you'll have to ask for the upgrade and perks.
