I am entering my final year of school for Vascular ultrasound, and I have just finished a clinical rotation where I have decided I really want to work when I graduate (next May).
However, because our college is in town, this whole vicinity is flooded with vascular students and it is really competetive to get a job... some would say cut-throat. One of the employees at the place I want to work suggested that I complete my resume now and send out it now!
My question: is this appropriate and is it normal? Obviously I haven't graduated yet, but I have had a high GPA and earned a scholarship, etc. These are things I could put on resume, including my clinical experience. But should I? How would the cover letter read??
TIA ~Danielle
