Can you give those of us on the 12/20 Magic Western trip any idea of the activities that day? We are trying to make plans for some type of get-together, but not exactly sure what the day will hold for the children.

Thank you.

I pulled this from another list headed by Tim Larison: groups.yahoo.com/disneycruise

Here's some info on Holiday activities on the Disney Cruise:

Disney Cruise Line® guests can enjoy a festive holiday celebration
sprinkled with pixie dust on sailings between Nov. 23 and Jan. 1.

It all starts at Disney's private cruise terminal at Port Canaveral,
Fla., where festive holiday décor and Disney characters dressed in their
season's best await all who board a Magical Holidays sailing. On board
the Disney Magic or Disney Wonder, guests find the ships decked with
boughs of holly and filled with holiday-themed entertainment and
activities for the entire family.

Magical Holidays highlights include:

A tree-lighting ceremony in the atrium lobby, where "snow"
magically falls

A Christmas Eve visit from Santa Goofy, with surprises for kids
enrolled in children' programming

International holiday caroling by crew members from around the
globe

Special family time, when families join together to design and
decorate their own gingerbread houses

Classic holiday story time in the atrium hosted by Mrs. Claus

Traditional holiday feasts in Disney's three themed dining rooms

First-run premieres of the animated film "Brother Bear" and
live-action release, "The Haunted Mansion", two of the holiday season's
films

Multiple faith and inter-denominational holiday services

A ship-wide party to ring in 2004 and a New Year's Day tailgate
party

CRSNDSNY - thank you - that is just the kind of information I was looking for!!

You're very welcome! You'll love Christmas onboard. It is so magical. We did a 7-day Eastern Christmas cruise in 2001 and it was so amazing! We were on St. Maarten on Christmas Day and it is one of our fondest memories from tge cruise. Be sure to check out the gingerbread house outside of Parrot Cay.
