Anyone shop at MyPoints?

If so, have you ever had trouble getting into their shopping sites?

I've been trying for a couple of days to take advantage of a 750 point offer for ordering contacts at 1-800 Contacts but I can't get the page to load. I contacted them & hope they get it fixed. This is something I have to have all the time anyway, might as well get points for it. It says you can do it monthly, too, but I would have to see what kind of S&H there is.

I had an e-mail back from MyPoints. They said it was "an intermittent technical problem" & they were working on it. So maybe that page will be back up soon.

I have done the contact site in the past without difficulty. I have found My Points to be the best as far as shopping. Especially with the addition of Best Buy and Barnes and Noble. I also just ordered a Dell computer, and scored over 2000 points! Everything that I have ever purchased has been credited. Also, as far as the contacts, you would have to pay S/H even if you order by phone, so what's the dif? Might as well get the points. I have been using this company for years without a problem.

True, but I was comparing them with Wal-Mart, where I don't pay S&H. I just checked back with the site & got in--no s&h on web orders! So I guess a few points will be coming my way!

Question re: 1-800 contacts - do they require your doctor to send them an eye prescription or do they take your work for it?

I've ordered from 1800 Contacts for about 3 years. They ask YOU for your prescription. It is a great company. I've never paid shipping, either. If you go thru MYPOINTS, click the link at the end of your order to claim your 750 points. Usually will receive the shipment within 1 week.
