Anyone send clothes out to be pressed?

I was thinking of sending some of our clothes out to be pressed that get wrinkled in the luggage, especially DH suit, formal dress, stuff like that. Anyone ever do this? How fast do you get it back? What is the approximate cost?

We sent DH's tux, suit, my formal, two dresses, and DD's dress to be pressed and the total bill was 24.00. Very well worth it!

We sailed the eastern, and I wanted the clothes back before formal night (the next night), so I sent them out Saturday afternoon, after the boat drill.

I plan on doing this on our upcoming trip - I'm a compulsive ironer but I don't want to do it on vacation, so I'm going to send all of DH's khaki's and our nicer clothing out for pressing on Saturday/Sunday. Well worth the $25 or so!

We did this...it was excellent..didn't have to worry about being careful packing.

When you arrive in your cabin and unpack your luggage..just grab the laundry bag..throw everything in you want pressed, fill out the laundry tag..pressing section..and hang it on your door.

Everything will be pressed and hung back in your cabin the next day, in plenty of time for dinner. Ours was usually back in the morning.

It is well worth it..everything comes back looking excellent.
We also used the laundry service later in the week..so we could pack less...well worth it also.

We did this on our 10/18/03 and 5/29/04 cruises. Both times, I sent EVERYTHING out that needed pressing on the first afternoon. It was hanging back in my room by the next afternoon. I even had a washable linen dress, that I washed at home and never bothered to press it, knowing that it would get wrinkle-ly.it came back perfect.
