Have seen cats under the balconies at VGC, on the westside. One looked just like my baby back home and patiently waited while I took pictures and chatted with him. It was either very early morn or at dusk. Can't remember or sure.
I had to Google Maynard to see who you were talking about but I recognized him as soon as I saw the pics. He was awesome at HM and made the ride an experience. That was way back in the late 90's though and haven't seen him since.
Thanks guys! We're leaving today--I'll ask the cm's if they know where he's working when we get there-- he's so much fun.
I'll look for the kitties around Disneyland hotel-- I'd like to see the decorations anyway and I don't know how many times my eyes have been glued while on the train looking for kitties-- you were lucky to see the ones you did.
We saw cats at DLH in October. One was hunting, and it was an awesome sight. She (I'm prejudiced to think that hunting cats are girls, because our semi-feral females while growing up were good hunters, while our semi-feral male couldn't even catch a butterfly, LOL) just about caught a bird right there on the path.
We see cats on almost every trip. I've noticed them a lot in DCA over the last couple trips.
I've yet to meet Maynard but I know a few people who like to say hello when he's working and lately he's been working the Tiki Room, Opera House, DL parade route, and WoC. (I'm sure there are a few other locations but that's what I've been hearing lately.)
We never saw any in the parks, which we would have enjoyed, but saw several by DLH and one in DTD (on the edge by Ridemakerz) who was definitely feral.
We saw some near Taste Pilot's. The rocks on the right hand side if you're walking from there to Carthay seems to be spot they like. The whole grizzly area seems like it'd be a good spot to see them too. I've seen one there too.
