We're looking to go soon and I'm just wondering how everyone liked it. Please fill me in!

No, but I'm dying to see it. My very good friend's husband, John Dietz, was the visual effects supervisor on the movie.

I'm anxious to hear reviews, too!

It is hands down my favorite childrens movie now! So cute! Dakota fanning is terrific and the animals are all just adorable.
My son liked it to but not as much as me!

I need to find a 10 year old to go with me :) My teenage kids are too cool to go to this movie.

Sure, I saw that movie many years ago. Didn't care to much for it though, I thought the animation was a bit... Oh you mean the new one. Nope, not yet, but I am looking forward to seeing it when it comes out on DVD.

We just got home from seeing it! We really enjoyed it, the kids LOVED it!! Some of the voices could have been better, but I loved everything else!

DD8's class just read the book and she absolutely loved it.. I was going to get a $5 giftcard to Mcdonalds for her stocking but I think I will get her a movie ticket instead and me and her will go see this movie before she heads back to school..

DS (4) and I went to see it today. We both really enjoyed it. :thumbsup2 Dakota Fanning is too cute and perfect for the role of Fern.

we may go see it next weekend, I am DYING to see it, so is my DD7. Thought about going this weekend, but I suspect that since it's opening weekend, the shows will be packed!

I remember FlowersChild posting about him wanting to go see it Friday (yesterday). I'm sure he'll be along to fill everyone in. He sounded so excited.

Does anyone have a small child I can borrow? ;) Seriously, I guess that I'll have to try to see it by myself. My 13 year old has no interest.

Even my 9yo thinks she's too cool for it, now that she's seen the Pirates and Harry Potter movies. "It's rated G, mom!" :rolleyes2 Yea, so?

I don't want to hijack the thread but book compared to movie? Does it live up to your imigination? (those old enough).

Myst

My 9 year old saw it with her friend (also 9). She read the book in school this year -4th grade, so it was nice to do that.

I bawled through the cartoon. I think I'll skip this one.

The review I read said it was kind of like babe with the animals...and gave it a really really good review. I tossed it out already, so I don't remember---but it seems to be one of those books that it would be a bit hard to stray away from. I don't recall if the review addressed it, but they were heavily praising the movie, the acting, and the story.

Will post this afternoon after we see it this a.m.

my mom took my daughter,.....they loved it...

just put my cat down sun...
i cry at movies....couldnt do it :confused3
