I am just asking my disboard parent friends, if anyone has seen a little einstein's figure (pvc) set ANYWHERE??? Disney Store, online somewhere?

We live in Orlando and are at WDW weekly, so I know I have not seen any here........

Does anyone know what I am talking about? And has anyone seen one for sale anywhere?

I found one on ebay that went for $81.00!!! Crazy, no?

TIA

We'd LOVE to have one, too - but there aren't any to be found. I'm not sure what the deal is. It would make my little guy SO happy that I could almost justify spending the totally insane amount they are going for on Ebay. Notice I said almost. All he says he wants for Christmas are Little Einsteins toys - and there just don't seem to be any. :guilty:

The only thing I've seen are the Little Einstein 12" plush at Disneyshopping.com. They're on sale for $9.99 each.

I found this article yesterday about the shortage of toys for Christmas. I know it isn't dirrectly dealing with your specify toy, but I thought I will share. Hopefully, everyone can get their act together before the big day and we can find toys for our children. :confused3 :confused3 :confused3

Toy shortage for the holidays?
Will Santa run out of toys this Christmas? Some industry Grinches are worried that the elves might come up a bit short this holiday season.

Underestimated demand has coupled with production problems in Chinese factories to cause a toy shortage this holiday season that extends beyond limited supplies of Sony's (SNE, news, msgs) hot PlayStation 3, according to a Wall Street Journal report today.

Chinese toy factories have experienced labor shortages as workers abandon their jobs for better-paying positions at higher-tech manufacturing companies, the article said.

In addition, power blackouts in southern China, where many of the factories are located, have led to decreased production, according to the Journal.

Oops! Misjudging consumer demand
The production issues come on top of already underestimated holiday demand.

Retailers and manufacturers looked at last year's slow sales and placed conservative orders this year, only to be met with higher-than-expected demand, marked by earlier holiday shopping trends, the article said.

Mattel's (MAT, news, msgs) giggling TMX Elmo is already selling for $65 on online auction site eBay, while it sells for $40 at its regular retail price. Likewise, Walt Disney (DIS, news, msgs) has been pressed to get its latest Mickey Mouse, Goofy and other toys in stores faster than anticipated, the article said.
Both companies are eating the cost of air-shipping the finished toys over cheaper but slower ocean shipping, the article said.

I got my DS3 all of the characters and rocket in the plush set at the Disney Store. They talk and everything. They can't keep them in at the store b/c they are selling so quickly.....

no figures though, sorry.

Thank you all so much! I got my dd a plush June at WDW, $16, she doesn't talk like the disney store one, but her head is less "wobbly" then the disney store one..................

it's pretty sad that they don't make this toy or have already sold out!!

We moms and dads should run our own toy marketing company we would be rich!!!!

Thanks again, and hoping someone will help us get a playset somewhere!!

Sorry, this is so late but the Disney store sells those little PVC sets 2 for $20 and they had Little Einsteins. I think they are for ages 3 & up though.

Hasil72--does your Disney Store carry them and have them NOW??

The Disney Stores in Orlando do not have these and I would be forever grateful if the next time you are at the Disney Store you could pick up a set and mail it to me -- I will pay you extra for your trouble!!!

Has anyone else seen this set at their Disney Store?!?!?

TIA

I am 99% sure I saw them yesterday at my Disney store, they had a HUGE display of little Einstein stuff.
