How were the crowds?

Did you use express pass?? how was it?

We were there 8/2-8/5 (Thursday-Sunday) Did SWO Thursday and part of Friday. We then hit IOA/US in late afternoon and evening. I went back and forth all three days. Stayed at PBH so we had all day express pass. Don't forget you get better seats at shows if you show your room key. I forgot that at several shows, but it really didn't matter.

It was wonderful!!! However at certain times of the day, the single rider line was than 10 minutes and the express line was 10-15 minutes so the single rider line was faster at times (especially Hulk and MIB).

I did notice a difference in the line time from last year. With that great room key last year we never had a wait more than 2-5 minutes but now with more people having access to the express lines, there were lines of 10-20 minutes which still can't be beat. I think it is great that amusements parks have come up with a system that allows everyone a chance to not have to wait in line for hours. I just don't know why more people don't use those passes.

There were more people there in August this year than last year when we went in October but it wasn't bad. Early morning and later afternoon was a little less crowded.

I just got back Monday from HRH and Universal for 2 days.

The FOTL access worked AWESOME!! We waited no more than a 5-10 minutes for anything! I would also recommend the single rider line for MIB, though - you blow off the whole preshow garbage in the beginning.

Just got back today. We were at Universal/IOA August 20, 21, and 22nd. It seemed to me that the crowds grew as the days went on. Wednesday seemed so much more crowded than on Monday. FOTL is the best...best...best thing ever! My friend who went with me...kept trying to talk me into changing hotels. She actually could have gotten us a whole condo for a week for about $130 through her time share plan....but I just WOULD NOT give up the HRH and the FOTL. She doesn't participate on these boards..so just didn't have the "good sense" that I do!....

However.....when we passed our first very long line....when she saw all the very hot and sweaty people standing in the l o n g line...and then walked right passed them...I think she wanted to plant a wet one on me right then and there! I simply was..."THE QUEEN" at that moment!! LOL!
