I am NEW to this but have been looking for a review thats current from anyone staying at this resort or if anyone has tips. Have 3 boys going in August we have packed a bag a nurf toys/balls for play.

Although I've never stayed at the All Star Sports, I just stayed at the All Star Movies for the first time last month. The All Stars are very well themed - you'll have a great time! The rooms are on the small side, so be prepared; that's really the only down side to the resort.

Have a great trip! :)

We stayed at the AS Sports last Aug. We leave tomorrow for the AS Movies. We really enjoyed our trip there. It was our second trip to the sports. If your boys like sports it's the place to be. Our kids were 9 and 6 and they enjoyed it. One great thing is that the buses usually stop there first so you always get a seat. That is the one draw back about the Movies, it's last.

Make sure you take a tour of the whole resort because the different buildings are really cool!!

I hope you have a great trip. We can not wait!!

The Sports has evolved into our favorite resort. Your boys will love being able to run around on the 'football field' in the middle. I enjoy seeing the kids have fun and they do close it down at about ten so the noise is not a problem.

Is also the closest resort to McD's and that is a big plus too.

Since I am extremely directionally challenged I love the fact that when I follow the road (in the right direction) I am at my resort when I reach the end of the road. Is a close drive to AK and the Lodge for Bomba's. Nothing not to like IMHO.

I loved the All-Star Sports Resorts. The sports theme is cute. The food court is perfect for a picky eater like myself that only like certain food. The transporation is great to and from the parks.

One day it take 2 hours get from Downtown Disney:mad:   ;) because I got on the wrong bus. Be sure get on the right bus.

We returned on Mon. 7/26 from spending 10 days at All star Sports and loved it. It's the third time we've stayed there.

If you can, request the football area. It was our favorite to date -- smack between both pools (Goofy Baseball pool and Food Court Pool) and we always ask for the 2nd floor b/c it seems to be a bit quieter. We didn't ask for courtside b/c at night, kids would play and it would get a bit loud. But, the courtyard is a great place to toss around the football or frisbee! I loved walking across it every morning and evening. I don't know why it thrilled me, but it did. Our staircase/elevator was right inside the red/yellow helmet and I thought that was so cool!

The food court is great -- Mac and Cheese for the kiddies who are picky (like my DS) and a pizza oven. Mickey waffles in the morning, too. They also sell my favorite -- Mickey Ice Cream suckers (although at the hotel you have to pay tax on them  . Oh, well ... it's worth it!

We've also stayed at Surf's Up and the Tennis one. Both were nice. We've always been pleased w/AS-Sports! Matter of fact, DS doesn't want to stay anywhere else, even though we've been inside the Contemp, Poly and Grand Flor.! He just wants Sports! That's fine w/me!

I love that you are first to be picked up from the hotel bus stop and first to be dropped off at the hotel coming back from the parks! I only wish the bus stop going back to the hotel was closer to the park exit! We heard that Pop Century's was now the furthest bus stop but it wasn't -- it was the closest stop!!! Go figure!
