Anyone ready for garage sale season? (inspired by trash picking)

I can't wait! Hopefully the weather will straighten out and we will start having lots in the next couple of weeks. My 10 yo DD even mentioned the other day that she couldn't wait to go and I had to listen to her complain all last summer. She's my bargain girl!

Yes! I am also a garage-saler! I take DS8 with me. He is on the lookout for Pokemon cards. I look for things in general, especially books. There were some listed last week but it rained most of the weekend. Maybe there will be more this saturday.

Funny thing, a friend e-mailed me yesterday to help her price things for a yard sale she wants to have.

Let the bargains begin!!!!

I'm actually already done with my garage sale. On any given weekend lately, there have been 15-20 garage sales in my town, plus plenty more in the very close surrounding cities. Every time I say this is going to be the last one, but for some reason a year later, I end up with so much outgrown toys and clothes I have to have another one. Now that I have gotten rid of all my junk, I can start hitting the other garage sales and start collecting more junk! My husband goes to garage sales and estate sales-looking for guy stuff. He has bought a LOT of stuff, but he sells a lot of it on Ebay and does pretty well. Always a bargain to be found somewhere!

I am SO ready!!!! I hit the yard sales, garage sales, flea markets...the thrift shops keep me going during the winter.
I look for items to paint on, then sell them at craft shows, my website, eBay, etc.
I was so excited a few weeks ago, my sister-in-law found the first sale of the season and picked me up a pair of skates to paint.
It is so much fun to find a bargain.
