Anyone purchase a half-day park ticket at the Expo?

As we were walking out of the kids' races on Friday, a cast member asked us if we had park tickets. He mentioned that you could purchase half-day tickets at at the guest relations booth. Did anyone do this? Just curious about the cost and any other details. Do they offer half-day park tickets during the other race weekends?

I have never heard of a 1/2 day ticket....ever. They usually offer a discount on park tickets for most of the races---although the one I used to get tickets for this past weekend was NOT advertised and only thanks to a WISHer did I get the scoop.

I saw the 1/2 day ticket offer at WWoS when I went to the Expo. Did not purchase however.

I overheard a CM asking a couple of runners if they wanted the 1/2 pass instead of the full day, since they'd only be there for 1/2 the day. I think the cost was like $55-60 for the 1/2 day pass.

I checked into this at the Expo on Saturday. You have to purchase it the day you are going to use it. Cost is $66 exactly, for adults and children. You can get into the park no earlier than 1:45pm on the day you purchase the ticket. You can only buy these tickets at the Wide World of Sports Welcome Center, which is the black round building that is outside where the expo entrance was located. My husband and I were running, but they told us we could purchase them for all the members of our party.

Thanks for the replies, I'll be on the lookout for half-day tickets at the Princess expo next month. I imagine that it was just for marathon weekend but I hope not.
