Anyone Planning On Calling Out Tomorrow...

 because of the snow?

My commute is about 1 hour 40 minutes, one way, so it depends on how bad the snow is. I'll set my alarm for 5am and look at the weather and see from there....but I'm hoping. :teeth: :teeth: :teeth: :teeth: :teeth:

on the fence.
would love to just work from home and not spend the holidays dead (you know - first snow fall...everyone acts like they've never driven in snow before!)

but would also like to be the 'trooper' that makes it into the office.

i'll decide tomorrow I guess..

Unless we're under a state of emergency (Unlikely) I'll be the 'trooper' in the office. One coworker is on vacation. Another announced this afternoon that she's working from home tomorrow.....That leaves lil old me.

I'm calling in. It's Friday, we don't test on Friday, usually just a catch up day. So I'm taking home some paperwork and can do it there.

ill decide tomorrow----i have a 925 class on campus but i commute 40-45 minutes..depends on how bad the roads look!

Well - as long as the subway is still running - ill probably get in the office! I have to see the large amounts to beleive it!

Spoke with husband and he's bringing work home. He's 95% sure he will work from home.

Unless we have a freak blizzard, the subways will run and I will have no excuse not to go work. Bummer.

I would love to. Tomorrow's my late day at work, so maybe by the time I'm due in at 10 there'll be too much snow for me to get out of my parking lot. They are TERRIBLE about plowing us out.

I work from home, home childcare provider, so I can't really call in!! One of my daycare moms called me this morning and said that if it snows, she is staying home, but her dh will probably be going in to work so he will bring the kids over..uh okay... :confused3

Unfortunately the sick people still need to be taken care of, so I don't have that luxury.

If schools are late, I'll stay home until DD6 is on the bus. Otherwise, I'll get to work when and if the roads are clear enough. We don't get paid for snow days; we either have to use vacation time or make it up. And no working from home, either.
