Anyone park at BWI airport recently?

The daily garage is $12/day and the hourly one is $22/day -- it says something on the website that their might be long wait times for the shuttle from the daily garage which makes me a little nervous. We are traveling with 3 small kids and it's like 35 degrees out. Would you just pay the extra for the hourly lot? We are only parking there for 4 days...

I used the Daily Garage at BWI twice this fall. I didn't experience anything different than in years past in terms of wait times. Also, if it's really cold, you can wait in the enclosed spaces at each bus stop. I have little kids, and I plan on parking there later this month. Although without the express lot open, I'm worried about what Christmas week is going to look like at BWI. Usually the lots are at capacity that week. Yikes!

I use The Parking Spot, covered parking, and it's great. They are usually there to pick you up before you finish getting your bags out of the car and when you come back they drop you off right at your car. It's super easy. It's just past the long-term parking on (I think?) Ft. Meade road? There are two locations - North is the one we've used. I think covered parking is around $12 and uncovered is about $8.

The message about long waits has always been there, presumably to motivate you to pay for the more expensive garage. We park in the $8 long term lot, and have waited 2-20 minutes for a bus. The private lots definitely have more frequent shuttles.

I parked in the Daily garage at the beginning of November and did not wait long for the bus to pick up at the garage, but waited about 30 min for the bus to pick up at the airport upon my return.

We used FastPark before. They will pick you up and drop you off right at your car. I think they are around $8 a day. Very convenient.
