Anyone park and fly from Phili airport - what about hotel?

I live in NY but was just admiring the low fares SW has from Phili - Orlando and other places as well but i was wondering - if you stay at one of the hotels nearby can you leave your car and they'll shuttle you to and from airport? or is it very expensive to park at the airport?

The cheapest airport parking is $9 a day, and you need to take a shuttle bus from there. It's a H-U-G-E lot, and the shuttle buses make a lot of stops.

I just stayed at Embassy Suites Philadelphia Airport. Free parking there. Free airport shuttles run every 30 minutes. With AAA, you can get a rate of $119 per night that includes free cooked-to-order breakfast in the lobby for up to 4 people.

I always park off site at PHL. I can't remember the name of the parking group (it used to be Priority). It is cheaper to park off site than at the airport. They are very efficient - they grab your bags and start loading them up as soon as you pull up. When you get back, you have a warmed up car waiting for you. They do have an AAA rate and sometimes on line discounts. Do a Park n fly search for Philadelphia.

I've never had to stay at a hotel, since I live close (45 minutes). I have no recommendations on that.

PHL is not my favorite airport. I like BWI a lot better, but it is farther from my house and the $49 flights on SWA are a GREAT bargain!!!!

We stayed at the Comfort Inn in Essington for $140 and it included free, yummy breakfast and we could park there for 14 days. The shuttle service was excellent, reliable and friendly!! We'd stay there a gain in a heartbeat. There's also a diner next door that you can walk to and have dinner the night before you fly out.

I have stayed at the microtel and the ramada. Nothing fancy,just plain rooms. Really cheap and they let you park for free. I went to parksleepfly.com for the best rates.

We have stayed at the Sheraton Suites and the Sheraton Four Points. They are about 5 minutes from the airport. Parking is Free if you book a park-sleep-fly reservation.

I have stayed at the microtel Nothing fancy,just plain rooms. Really cheap and they let you park for free. I went to parksleepfly.com for the best rates.

Room was okay at Microhotel, but the shuttle service stank! Will NOT stay there again!
