Anyone own a 2008 Highlander Limited? Tell me about it, please

I am looking to buy a certified preowned Highlander Limited. I tried out a new one last year, but the warranty on the used one is actually better than the new one. If anyone owns one, please tell me the pros & cons. Thanks!

Well..........I owned a 2001 Limited! AWD, V6 all leather. I had it for almost six years put over 100k miles on it and NEVER had a problem. Did the regular routine maintenance.

I wanted a new car and traded it. It was a very good vehicle!

I test drove one a few months ago but decided on a used Lexus RX instead. The Highlander is bigger and drove pretty nicely. DH drove both and said the Highlander seemed to hesitate a bit when accelerating. We went in to talk to the dealer about making a deal on it and he wouldn't budge a dollar on the price. In fact, he seemed a bit rude. I believe it was around $28,000 with 30000 miles on it. It had obviously been driven pretty hard.

If it helps: I have a 2006 Highlander Hybrid. It's been great. It has had one recall, it wasn't an emergency. They took care of it at the next oil change.

I hope someone can shed some light on the 2008.

Unfortunately, I have found our Toyota dealer to be just as bad trying to make a deal. They know they have a desirable vehicle and won't come off the price. It is hard to find a used one in the Limited version, but I keep waiting.
