For the past few years, it's been during the late August-September-early Oct time frame. It's to bring in more people during the traditionally slower time of year. I don't see it ever happening in the spring, just because it's a busier time of year. But you never know!
We went to Disney last October, and LOEMH and MNSSHP were the definite highlights of the trip!!! My dd got to play with Peter Pan and Wendy and only a small group of kids for around 40-45 minutes!!! Peter Pan was ALWAYS one of my favorites, and my DH remarked "Naomi is living out your childhood fantasy." We have the sweetest pictures of just Naomi and Peter Pan hiding during a game of Hide and Seek; the other kids were all part of the seeking group with Wendy. Later that night at MNSSHP, one of the Cast Members recognized my dd from earlier that day, which made me feel special. (We napped in between, btw!)
I do not have a trip planned for October 2008, but had actually been thinking about whether there was ANY way we could sneak down for a long weekend because that program and MNSSHP were just SO special. If it's going away, I think we'll wait. Our next stay may be split between Disney and The Wizarding World of Harry Potter in 2009, if that opens on time. (Generally not that interested in Universal, but Naomi also LOVES Harry Potter.)
the fact there there are NO morning EMH's listed on disneyworld.com for Sept on Sun, Wed, Fri also makes me think that there WILL be LOEMH b/c the days of the LOEMH last year were Sun, Wed, and Fri...(why ELSE would there be NO morning EMH at MK, AK, MGM or Epcot for those days???)
is anyone else hopeful that the announcement on disboards was incorrect????
