Anyone on the wait list get in late in the game?

Hi everyone!

I am still on the wait list of the CP, and there are only 65 days left until the program begins. Has anyone ever been on the wait list and gotten in this late in the game? I have also applied for a few PIs just to expand my chances of getting in to Disney.

Any ideas? I am still on the "In Progress" for CP and in the "Post interview stage" for one of my PIs

Please help, I'm driving myself crazy. Thanks in advance for your advice.

I don't know about the PI, but for the CP, Pending is not the extended rejection that some people seem to think it is. You can still get in. People who are auditioning have other roles saved for them, and if they get a character slot, that other role needs to be filled. Same with people who don't respond or pay their fees in the time allotted. It could also mean they can't decide where to put you, and need to see how many people they need in each role at the very end of filling each up. They are not accepting any more applications, so soon they'll have a better idea and be filling any gaps. They might need almost none, half, or even all of the pending people. That's why they keep you in reserve.

The reality is, you may not get in. But pending means your interview was good enough not to knock you out of the running, or you'd have gotten a rejection instead of playing the waiting game. Don't give up hope!

I know some people who were pending until the very. last. day. and it was really hard for them, but some of them did get accepted that last day. It's hard, but think positive thoughts and keep your fingers crossed!

Thanks Jay and Big. I was wondering. I know I am going nuts, and will not give up, if I have to apply for next term I will. But I hope I get in this semester. Thanks for all the encouragement. *HUGZ*
