you know I checked .... ship is wide open .... maybe if they drop their price ... which would work for me .... I already booked my airfare and hotel.... I'm not feeling the love.... I'm feeling .... ghost ship ... me in Miami doing nada

UGH!!!! I so annoyed .... only me from NYC and you from Bean Town are gonna be on the boat .... it's only like 6 months away ... I don't get this... if I hadn't booked my airfare I might switch-a-roo (maybe) ... I think that people don't want to go to Miami (that's number 1 - airfare is high from east coast unless you are watching all the time like me); no direction as to where to do a pre-stay from DCL; no info on transportation issues from DCL... in fact, very little info at all from them.... BIG PLUS... no Castaway Cay ... but I just was on the Dream for New Year's Eve cruise and although the weather was amazing ... you absolutely could NOT swim or put you toesies in the water at all on CC because it was sooooo cold. That being said, I figured the 6 dayer on the Wonder would be great .... even w/o CC .... I didn't love, love the Dream ... loved it ... but I still love the Magic and the Wonder,...well that's the closest thing to it that I had to choose from .... I will MISS PC and the Mickey Portal .... sniff sniff .... (openly weeping now).... what have I gotten myself into .... BUT WAIT as an alernative to cancelling the cruise ... is it even conceivable that DCL would DROP yes DROP the price PRIOR to full payment..... they would have to at this point.... otherwise cruise is a bust for them.... anyway, don't mean to be greedy but I am Gold member, own DVC, have an AP, yada yada and no breaks are given so.... maybe Disney Santa will be nice this year

Well Mousemom at least we have each other I am Amy by the way, and I bought 2 rooms. It's me, my mom and mil, DS10 DS8 and DD4!
This will be my 5th DCL 3 on the Magic 2 on the Wonder-I have no desire to even try the Dream-way too many people!!!!
This will be my 2nd NYE cruise and I agree, I would give up Castaway Cay for warmth! Cozumel and Grand Cayman should be beautiful!!!
I got my flight on Jet Blue direct from Boston to Fort Launderdale for $250 roundtrip-I checked the flight yesterday and same flight is now $501!!!!
I can't imagine a NYE cruise not selling but I think we might get lucky and the price WILL DROP!!!
I am checking everyday. When is your final payment date? Mine is sometime in Oct. I just hope the "sale" doesn't come out Nov. 1st........

The ship looks pretty empty but since its new years I think it will sell out.

I really hope they don't cancel it we already booked the flights and hotel. We are staying at the Hilton south beach for a few nights before. Havent really thought too much about it since its all booked and after christmas, seems like a waze away to me.

I have liked south Beach but the rates are steep, the Hilton wanted 1K a night so we used our HHonors points but wow it may be spendy.

I have only been to miami once so I am not the person to really ask, sorry.

We just booked today! We've only done the Magic out of LA to Mexican Riviera and never been to Grand Cayman or Keys, so excited for that. Heard the NYE party is fun, but have very little info other wise, perhaps it will start trickling in.

We have two rooms booked for the NYE cruise. Really enjoyed the NYE cruise two years ago so we decided to try another one. Trying to decide where we are staying on Saturday night.

We are currently booked. There are four of us in our room (DH, DD17, DD14 and myself). We also have two additional rooms reserved for family members. We're for sure, but they are still in limbo as they look into airfares. Since we're missing out on Castaway Cay we booked two pre-nights at Disney's Vero Beach Resort. We were on the 8-night New Year's Eve cruise on the Magic last year. We really loved it. We were booked on the Fantasy NYE cruise, but switched over due to savings. LOVE LOVE LOVE the Fantasy, but are anxious to see the shows on the Wonder.
