I'm wondering if anyone had no luck getting what they wanted at 180 days? Now I'm worrying!

Up at 6am at the 180 day mark (actually tried at 3 AM), hid in bathroom with computer and got everything we wanted.:thumbsup2

Very rare to not be able to get something any more if you book the first day. Other than uber-popular places during especially busy times. The Chef's Table at Viki & Al's might still be an exception just because I think they only seat one party per night.

Now if you want the perfect *seating time* at your favorite spot, you might want to do it the first morning.

I also have a feeling that when it comes on line, "Be Our Guest" is going to make the old days of CRT in the early 2000s look like getting Olivia's at 2pm on a Wednesday in September. *Everyone* is going to want to try it, I suspect.

This past Sat was my 180 + 10 day. I have a resort reservation but online I was only able to book my first day, it would not recognize my reservation with more dining bookings.

So I waited until 7am and called. 30 minutes later a CM picked up and I could not book Fultons or any Epcot (5) reservations that I wanted to make. She said the days were not released. Could not move the restaurants to different days or times because nothing was open. She told me to call back.

I called back three separate times on Sat and on Sun and still no luck.

Around noon on Monday I was finally able to secure everything but dinner at Tutto is much later than I wanted and lunch at Via Napoli was much earlier than I wanted. I will have to try and tweak them online...as soon as my the stupid booking system allows me to!

This has never happened to me before...it must be because of F&W events?

This is what I fear will happen to me! I wonder if I should call cro in advance to make sure it is linked? I see my reservation so it should be no problem, right?

I just think wdw is busier period. F&W definitely doesn't help but you have been there many times during this same time.

Will you be doing a LIVE dining report this time? I hope so!

The CM's that I talked to, and there were a lot of them, said many guests are calling in to report a problem with booking 180 + 10 online...the system isnt recognizing resort numbers.

And of course there will be a live review, wouldnt be a WDW vacation without one

After having the same problem as the PP at the 180 day out mark, ( the online registration system wouldn't recognize my reservation...) I called and talked to a very helpful CM that booked all of the reservations for TS meals that I wanted. Don't worry...although the only TS that was a must for me was Ohana's on our second night for 615...

I then rebooked online 2weeks later, I decided to change 4 of the 5! I could still get an ADR for Le Celliler, but passed, but this suprised me. Here's what I booked at 165 days out:

Biergarden 6:50PM
1900 park fare 5:45 pm
Sci- Fi dine in 12:15 pm
Via Napoli 12:45 pm

I realize everyone might not love the restaurants I chose and they might not be the most popular, but the ones that I wanted were ALL available. We are a party of adults, so we didn't need but one character meal...

I had originally booked Chrystal palace...I had eaten there before and liked it but it was n our first day and I didn't want to pay $10 a head for a missed ADR because of a missed plane/delay. I booked that one at 180d. And then cancelled.m

To sum up, IMHO you shouldn't have a problem. :cutie:

I don't think it's because of the F&W festival. I ran into the same problem when I tried to book ADRs for my Sept 1st-8th trip. It let me book for that first night, but then wouldn't recognized my reservation number. When I called at 7:00am the CM couldn't get it to go through either and said alot of people had been calling saying the system wouldn't recognize their resort reservation numbers.

As far getting everything, I've never had that much of a problem. I've always been able to get the restaurants I wanted, but maybe not the exact time or day I wanted.

No problem for me! Today was my 180 mark, their site recognized my reservation number and I got every restaurant I wanted including Le Cellier, Narrccoossee's, CRT, 'Ohana, Garden Grill, Crystal Palace, Flying Fish and Chef Mickey's! I'm super happy everything worked out as perfectly as it did

Keep the faith! I got all ours this morning no problem (well, the site was done and the phone line was crap, but I got all the restaurants at the times we wanted). Good luck!

I am staying at the Dolphin this year and I have been making my ADRs one day at a time. I also have no interest in getting up early so I usually make them around 10am or 11am each day. So far so good for the popular restaurants that I wanted. I got Le Cellier for lunch on my birthday and 'Ohana on a wishes night this morning. I am not doing overboard with ADRs this time around since I plan to spend a lot of time at Epcot for the Food and Wine festival.

This might be a different story if Free Dining is released for October/November.

No problem here. It was Christmas Eve. Got up and did them online at 6am, then called the Bippity Boppity Boutique number at 7am to get my daughter's makeover appointment.

We have pre-park opening breakfasts at Crystal Palace, Akershus and Hollywood and Vine, a Tusker House breakfast during morning EMH, a CRT dinner 2.5 hours after her BBB appointment, an Ohana dinner, a Garden Grill dinner and a Chef Mickey's dinner. I got everything on the day I wanted within 30 minutes at the most of the time I wanted. I was really surprised it went so well.

I wish you the best.

I've had two issues on day 180....

1. I did booking for my friend's Dec 2011 trip last June...I had the most impossible time getting her ADRs in Epcot. It turned out it was all restaurants where they were withholding spots for Candlelight Processional packages.

2. In June of 2010 I tried booking Rose & Crown for 8:30 for a party of 6. It was the second thing I booked that morning (so, it was about 5:02am CT on my 180+10 day- and this meal was day 184). The best I could get was 7:40pm. After I got everything else, I went back and tried to split us up into a party of 4 and a party of two ... at this point around 5:20a ... and the best I could get was 7:15pm by this point. I was so upset. I checked every day, multiple times per day for 180 days and the best I was ever able to get for us was 7:45p. I was told this issue was also probably due to Candlelight Processional. What really bites- the place was half dead the night we dined. :furious:

Well it did it to me again!:headache: Yesterday was my 180 day mark for my Oct 27th-Nov 4th trip. Once again the online system would not recognize my reservation number. I called an hour later when their dining number opened up and the CM had no trouble with my reservation. I was able to get everything I wanted, except for all places a lunch at Whispering Canyon.:confused3 The CM said there was nothing available for lunch or dinner all week and apparently it had not been loaded into the system yet. I tried again this morning to get it online, but once again the system does not recognize my reservation number, so I had to call. The CM said she had been getting alot of calls from people who said the online system would not recognize their reservation numbers. She checked WCC for me and said it was still not downloaded into the system. She also checked to see if maybe it was going to be closed for rehab, but said nothing was showing up that it was and to just keep calling.:headache:

I'm still happy. I now have ADRs made for my May 5th-12th, Sept 1st-8th, and Oct 27th-Nov 4th trips and other than having to wait for them to upload WCC for the Oct/Nov trip, I was able to get everything I wanted for all three trips. So I am 36 for 36.

I made my ADRs online at about 6:50 am 180+10 days out. System was able to link my resort reservation. I got everything I wanted within 15 minutes of the required time, some even at the exact time I entered. Seemed there was lots of availability. I think the credit card guarantees have helped.

NEVER! I find of you call at 180 days in the early AM you will get what you want within an hour (or less) of your desired time. Exception may be Victoria and Alberts Chef's Table... but other than that I have never, and neither have my friends, had any problem getting what I want. Even CRT is not that hard anymore IMO- I have friends able to book it past 180 days all the time.

Out of our three trips within 2011 and 2012 we have gotten every single one we wanted. Only our fall 2011 trip was even booked with us waiting at the 180 day mark. So all of the rest were booked with less than 180 days (and less than 100 days for our January 2011 trip). We've gotten Ohana for all three times we wanted it, Le Cellier, CRT, pre-park opening breakfast and so on. Now, we don;t go during super-busy times of year like spring break or Christmas week so that might make a difference. But still, everything we wanted was gotten by the 180 day mark at the earliest. Good luck!!
