Anyone NOT get to use the code?

We've had reservations for CSR and tried to apply the free park hopper & waterpark code. We were told it wasn't available. The code just came out! Has anyone else tried to use the code and weren't able to? Our TA is now looking into Port Orlearns.

Edited to add: Our travel dates are April 15 - 22.

I looked to book CSR Rack Rate in May and the only thing coming up is the suites and exec rooms....I think there are quite a few conventions going on during this time period, so it's pretty booked up.

I called this AM. I stated that I currently have a ressie and would like to see if a certain code is available for my stay. The CM stated "what's a code"?


I politely said thank you for trying and hung up. I called back and got a second CM. It took him a while to find it, but he did. However, the code wasn't available for the type room that I had booked (waterview at POFQ). He stated that it was available for a standard view, which is what I took.

I saved $227.40 with the room change and the discount.

I'm happy!

I called and got the rate with the code.. it is for free hopper and water park upgrade.. so it doesn't really save that much...

poohsmommy4, I was offered a waterview room at POR. Did you ask what views were available? My dates are 16-20 May.

I made a new reservation this morning for POFQ for 4/17-25 and was able to use the discount code on a standard room. It was not available on a pool view room, but I was okay with that. Not a huge savings, but with the lack of codes lately (for someone that can't get there often and us an AP) I was happy with any discount So excited!

Thats odd, I called just a minute ago. We are staying at CBR with dining April 21-28 & was told they could apply the code if we switched to POR. She said it wasn't available at CBR.

We are staying 6/2-6/10 maybe thats why. I emailed my TA and she said we could switch resorts but nothing available at POR. We also have 5 people plus a baby in the room. We need a room with a trundle. Maybe thats why.

I really don't want to switch unless its cheaper.

I'm so frustrated with this whole thing!!! I called Disney directly first thing this AM and was told it was unavailable for my dates (end of May). Then I called my TA through AAA and she said it would be an ADDITIONAL $200 to apply the code! WHAT?! I don't get the rhyme and reason of all this stuff

I just had my TA call and see if anything was available on June 1...she went thru every resort and nothing was available. My TA said she would check back in about a week. Personally I will start calling every day and see if anything gets cancelled. Not going to wait on my TA to find out anything.

I would also suggest you call back - it can't hurt. As I stated, the CM first told me that the discount wasn't available for my dates. He then mentioned POR. I then asked to check for a standard view @ POFQ. That's when he found it.

krismom, it could be that your original AAA discount was actually a better deal than the current discount for park hopper tickets, that's why it was an additional $200. Ask your TA to explain why is there an additional $200 cost.
