transferring ADRs is allowed by Disney. It is relatively easy, and in my opinion not a great sin, to do so.

Disney will not allow you to switch ADRs - at least that's my understanding. However, the information needed to allow someone else to use your ADR is not too invasive. Name, restaurant, time, party number, ADR number is all that's really required.

ok i have ADR's that i will not be using since i canceled my vacation: they are for Cinderella's Royal Table for breakfast, Boma's for Dinner, Garden Grill Restaurant for lunch and 50's Prime Time Cafe for lunch for the days between August 27-31.i will have further info on friday on the exact days and times since i dont have my info on me right now. if you have any question PM me and ill get back to you

OP: It is very simple to change the ressie to another name. You will need the first/last name of the new person, where they are staying, contact phone number, are they on the dining plan and number of adults/children in group.

I have done this 6 times in the past 2 weeks. Just tell the cast member that you wish to change the name on your ressie to a family member . The confirmation number stays the same. Avoid the word "transfer" as that gets their knickers in a knot!
