Anyone looking to book a 2-night stay at Royal Pacific for 12/31-1/2?

Here's the deal:

I booked 3 nights at Royal Pacific beginning Dec. 30. Since then, we've decided to stay just one night--on the 30th. I tried to modify the reservation, but I can't drop the last two nights of our stay because of a 3-night minimum stay requirement. (I didn't know about this requirement--there was no mention of it when I booked.)

I spoke with a reservations manager today and she said someone could take over the last two nights of our booking. So, if anyone is interested in staying at RP for 2-nights beginning 12/31, please PM me ASAP for details. (I promise this isn't some scheme--I'm not that creative. )

Wow, that sux, wish I could help. We're booked club level from the 26th through the 29th for my daughters marching band performance. I was not told about a minimum stay either, glad I haven't tried to cut days. They really impose a lot of rules and stipulations there, surprising for a theme park resort to do so. I guess they can get away with it since there are only 3 onsite properties. Good luck!

Sorry, I can't help you out either. But I was wondering if all the on site hotels at Universal have a 3 night minimum or was this a special rate of some kind?

Yes, the minimum stay requirement applies to all three onsite properties. I guess it's due to the holidays. I can understand that, but it would've been nice to know about the requirement when I booked our stay. If I don't find someone to take over our last two nights, I'm gonna have to cancel the reservation altogether.

You can stay just one night if you stay on the 1st of January.
