Anyone live in Lake George, NY region?

For my DS's 21st B-day later in August, I told him I'd pay for a trip for him and his DGF. He's thinking of going to Lake George, NY. Are there any discount coupons available out there for The Great Escape? or any other attractions? Any recommendations for motels? He's looking at Colonel Williams Motor Resort on Rt. 9.

Any suggestions for these semi-adventurous kids?

If you are a AAA member they have a nice coupon.You have to call the main travel number as local AAA do not have the coupon. Its $10 off per person. We are going this Saturday.

Also www.lakegeorgeNY.com has a $7 coupon.

Are there any discount coupons available out there for The Great Escape?

You can usually find these on Pepsi cans, etc. They are 6 flags, so take most six flags coupons. AAA also has great prices for Great Escape.

There are tons of hotels in Lake George..if you have an entertainment book, check out some of the deals there. I've not heard of the one you're asking about, but be sure to tell them you want it in the village of Lake George..they tend to call anything from Glens Falls to Warrensburg, the Lake George Region.

You should be able to surf the net and find the Lake George chamber with lots of suggestions.

We go to Lake Geoarge every year. Our hotle offers discounts, very substantial almost half off per ticket. Make sure you ask the front desk.

We are about 3 hours away and our local Entertainment book has a buy one get one free coupon for Great Escape. I would offer mine, but my sons Boy Scout Troop used it this spring!

I believe that the Albany Entertainment book has coupons for quite a few of the Lake George recreation and lodging places.

Make sure you hit Marthas for ice cream (right across the street from Great Escape). It's inexpensive and the cones are HUGE!

A friend of our lives right outside of lake george. When we went there last time I found a couple of websites that told you what events were going on during our stay and also I believe there were some online discounts and coupons.
I don't remember the site....but just do a search for Lake George
