Anyone know where to get kid friendly clipart?

My dd's school has a wonderful program. The children write books and the school "publishes" them. Parents volunteer to be editors, typist, proofread, and bind them, turning their wonderful stories into beautiful books. I am one of the typists, and the children often want me to illustrate their books. At times I have spent hours looking for decent clipart to use. They often have requests that are impossible to find. Last week I spent hours trying to find 2 boys playing on a computer, I never could find one. In fact I could not find 2 boys playing at all. Everything was with 2 girls or a boy and a girl. The children are pretty specific as to what they want, we try our best to get a picture as close to their request, I would like to have some place to find kid friendly clipart without having to spend most of my time searching. Any ideas?

For example, I'm looking for: A girl working at a desk, a black and white spotted cat, and a mom & a girl with hearts.
