Anyone know where to buy a cell phone charger at WDW?

I obviously left my charger in my car before flying to WDW today. Anyone have any suggestions on where I might be able to find one at WDW? Would anywhere at Downtown Disney have one??

Last time I was there (last summer) there was a kiosk w/ cell phones & accessories at DTD.

perhaps you could call your cell phone provider and have them overnight one to your resort?

You might try Virgin Megastore at DTD. You could check with the front desk to see if they have any facilities for charging phones or not. When I checked into CR in December, I saw the front desk loaning a charger to someone. I don't know if it was one from lost and found, or one they had there to loan out. I just heard the man say it would only take a couple hours to charge the phone, and then he'd be bringing it back. I'm sure there must be lots of business travelers who misplace their chargers.

Another option, if you can go slightly off property, is to get one of the portable chargers that takes AA batteries. I bought mine at Walgreens, to have in the event of a hurricane. They have them for several different makes of cell phones, and there's always a ready supply of AA batteries to be found. I've never looked to see if the Hess convenience stores on property carry them, or if they carry them in the Disney gift shops. Mine was made by Energizer, but there are several companies who have them for sale.

The phone kiosk is long gone as Disney is no longer in the cell phone business.

Happened to me last fall. If you have a car, drive over to Walmart. They sell a generic line, the plug sticks out package so you can make sure it fits your phone. Was only about $14, much less than my provider wanted. I bought wall charger and a car charger. They work great !

I read this suggestion on a frequent traveler web site. Ask at the front desk if they have one in lost & found that matches your phone. The original poster mentioned that hotels have piles of them in lost & found and are more than willing to share. I hope this works.

Just ask at the front desk, they usually have some that have been left in the rooms.

There's a WalMart a few miles away from the GF. They sell a cellphone/iPod charger that runs on batteries.

It's good to have in emergencies, and you wouldn't have two duplicate chargers when you get home.

Go to the front desk at your hotel with your cell phone. Most hotels have a "collection" of these things, they may have one you can borrow that will work just fine. People leave them everywhere!

thanks for all of the responses. i was at downtown disney yesterday and bought a battery operated charger at virgin megastore.
