anyone know whats planned for 20th anniversary?

I was just thinking back to the 15th - I discovered DLP in February 07, 15th anniversary started in April 07, and it seems to me that when I booked for Feb in August/September 06, there was already advertising etc for the upcoming 15th anniversary around.
We got a new parade (OUAD) the gold statues on top of the castle, Candleabration, the first character express with Casey Jnr, the decorated lamposts on Main St, the 15th logos with Lumiere dotted around the hub, High School Musical seasonal show - loads I've no doubt forgotten too . I remember being really excited about everything 15th, loved the whole park decorated that way.

So does anyone know whats new thats planned for the 20th? I know the main park especially is getting a major and overdue refurb to be ready for April next year, but what special events/shows/attractions can we expect/are rumoured?

Well these are the logos

And the Ratatouille Dark Ride has been approved for planning permission and now is only awaiting the banks to issue the funds (which has been said to be 'most likely').

Don't think we'll see the Ratatouille ride before 2013, I'd expect completion towards the end of the celebration year, just as they did with ToT.
Isn't there something about a new night time light show, rumours from tests run a while back in the moat around the castle ?
a replacement for Fantillusion ?
and if Tinkerbell is being used in the logos, I would hope to see her around the park too.

We were at the press event of the 15th Anniversary Elaine, last weekend in March and as I recall there wasn't a lot of information about prior to our visit, I know that I was one of the first to post up pics of the beautiful lamposts, loved all those little blue LED's in the flags and seeing Lumiere in the park.

Ratatouille (end of the year or in early 2013)
New show to replace Captain EO,
Revamped POTC (with Johnny Depp etc...)
New daytime parade,
New night time parade,
New Fireworks,
New hub stage show,
New decorations.

Plus all the special decorations.

That's a shame. The new versions look great. Ours is in urgent need of a make over. The 'Starspeeders' are looking very tired, and a lot of the TV's used just before you board are broken. The ones that do work look very dated because they're old fashioned CRT's.

The exit is also awful. Just a bunch of dated arcade games.

hate to put a downer on it but I suspect there wont be much new at all as its getting quite close now! certainly they wont get any new rides ready in time.

A new daytime parade would take a while as well as the floats take so long to build - with so many CMs online these days if they were already building the floats I'm sure we'd know about it by now.

With the stories of Fantillusion disappearing from the schedules later in the year, I suspect they're either planning a major refurb of it, or changing some of the floats, or maybe stripping them down and using them as a base for a new parade.

looking at other dlrp sites, it seems that there is a huge amount of refurbs going on right now - most of the hotels are finally getting attention, the castle, completely new captain hooks ship etc.

It seems they've got so far behind on the refurbs that they'be had to make that top priority before they start on anything new.
