Hi Dissers!
During our May trip, we are thinking of taking a day to go to Fort De Soto Beach, leaving from our townhome in Windsor Hills (Kissimmee).

Does anyone know how much this will cost in tolls? Also we will have cash, no transponder or other means of electronic payment.

Or, I could look into this information myself if someone can supply a website to look this information up?

Or, any other tips you can share? Like need for exact change? Or anything else?

Thanks alot Dissers!

There is also a toll on 682 before you get to 679. I believe it is .75 - No tolls on I-4 or I-275.

Have fun!!! It's one of my favorite places in Florida!!! So beautiful there. I've been several times but it's been with my son. He's a Florida resident and he was driving...so I didn't pay much attention to tolls or parking costs!!!

None of the tolls in that area are cash-only. $5 in quarters and a $5 bill for the park entrance will get you anywhere you need to go.

There is a food concession at North Beach, but it's limited. Bringing a picnic cooler is your best bet at Ft. deSoto. (You can, however, buy live bait from the vending machines on the pier. One of the parks more unusual features, LOL.) Seriously, if you plan to fish and need bait, using a sabiki off the pier first will normally get you plenty of baitfish very quickly.
