Hi, we are off to Blackpool for the weekend on Saturday, but are actually staying at the Holiday Inn in Preston. We want to have a nice meal on Saturday with my daughter (2). Cn anyone suggest anywhere nice to eat in either place? Thanks. xxx

I dont know of anywhere Verity, but hope you have a lovely time:goodvibes

Hi ,
The Phantom Winger on Garstang road in Preston is quite a good place with small children serves pub food and has a wacky warehouse
opening hours 11am-11pm we used to eat here quite a lot when the children were smaller. there is also the Outside inn which is quite nice but no play area
hope that helps:goodvibes

Hi Verity,

Heathcotes and Franco's near Preston are quite nice. I am not sure whether they would be suitable for your daughter?

A friend who lives just outside Preston can also recommend:

This link has loads too:

To be honest Blackpool will be packed in the evening with the illuminations on.

My favourite restraunt, a few miles out of Preston on the A6 towards Lancaster, is Quattro's Italian....its utterly superb.
