Was checking air for a friend today to Orlando in the month of December and its outrageous to say the least.

Yes, airfare is very expensive . Delta and Airtran had a sale on 11/27 but i believe it was only out of Philly. Airtran had a sale out of PIT but that was earlier this month . Good luck with your search.

Here in PIT we are captive to USAirways. There was only a few dollars difference before US and AirTran so I decided to wait. One of these days we will have true competition here in PIT.
