Anyone know of a place that print addresses onto envelopes for a good price?

Hi all!

After yet another year of making my hand go numb writing out Christmas cards I've decided this will be my last year handwriting addresses! I know I've gotten cards from friends and family that have the address printed right on the envelope- does anyone know where I can get this done?

Along the same vein, I;m switching from traditional cards next year to those ones where you just put a picture of your family and a holiday message on the side- where's the best price for those?

Thanks!

If you have a list of addresses and a printer, you can do it yourself, that's how I send out our Christmas cards. If you don't want to fuss with printing the envelopes you can also just print labels. This year I went the label route, clear Avery labels at Target into the printer, easy peasy.

I always make my pictures cards from Costco or Snapfish.

Shutterfly will do all that for you. They'll print your photo card, print your envelopes, and even stuff and mail them for you. I doubt it's the cheapest option, but it's pretty convenient.

I have used Minted for 2 years now and will be ordering this years cards in a day or two. You can type in the address for all of your recipients. It saves them, so every year it will print them again without you having to type them again. This year I paid $30 for 45 cards, but I had a coupon for $35 off any order from taking a survey months ago and they offered me free shipping when I started my order, but didn't check out right away. To my pleasant surprise, it stacked.

Shutterfly does it. We just did it since we wouldn't have gotten the custom cards in time to then put them in envelopes and slap the labels on them and back in the mail. So because we wanted to send cards and were in a time crunch and only sending a few we paid the price. It is 55 cents plus postage each to label and ship. I don't know if we'll do it again but for this year it let us get the personalized card we wanted at the last minute.

I do my own using Microsoft Publisher and whatever fun new font I happen to like this year (Daydreamer). I find it pretty easy to do and the document is all saved and ready for next year.

shutterfly. You can have your picture put on a card and get the back of the envelopes printed too.

We print our addresses on our printer at home - we just pick up address labels at office depot. And we have everyone's address already in the templates so it prints fast.

I also print our return address on our printer and add a cute design like a candy cane or christmas tree to it.
Usually takes me 20 minutes to print my own.

Made Avery labels years ago in Wird and just keep updating the document. Print them out and stick on the envelope. I also purchased 2 return address stampede for relatives that had moved with their new address as a housewarming gift so decided to get one for us too. We always use photo cards and have them done st Walmart. Price depends on how many you get but range between .28 and .48 and you can get 1 hour service. I make them on my computer and they are ready in 1 hour.

You can also do it yourself from Microsoft Word. You just type in the address, highlight it, then click Mailing -> Envelopes and select the size envelope you want. You can also add the return address. Super easy - that's how we do all our letters at work.

I print address labels at home using a mail-merge. Address list is an Excel file, labels print through Word. I also print return address labels to use.

As to photo cards... I've used a several different locations over the years -- Rite Aid, Kinney Drugs, WalMart, Walgreens, CVS and BJ's. After a very poor experience a few years ago I now prefer to use one with printing on-site where I can pick up locally rather than having the cards shipped to me. Which has a better price may depend on when you order and what special offers they have at that time, but I usually can easily find 25 cards for $10 or less; price per-card tends to be lower with larger orders so it may also depend how many you need.

Happy holidays!

Sam's club added our address to our envelopes for free with the cards I ordered this year!

I order our cards from Sam's Club. Every year during the Thanksgiving Weekend they have a special of 100 photo cards for $15. So, I get them printed that weekend every year.

I ordered our photo cards from Walmart this year and they printed return addresses for me. I can't remember if they do the addressing.

We did our card through Costco this year. The quality was great, and the envelopes had our return address on them. I will buy from them again.

Edited to say...Sorry, reread OP's question. Not sure if they do recipient addresses. Tiny Prints does.
