Does anyone know if there is a limit on the rooms you can book with the 40% off coupon? I have 3 rooms booked now with 7 of us and I was thinking of asking my cousin, his wife and son to go with us also for this great deal, but I dont want to tell them unless they can get the deal also.

The CM told me the limit is 3 rooms per valid date.
 
I was told that for 2008 the offer is only good for the family that it was address to. They cannot book up to 3 rooms as in the past

I called 4 times over the last 2 days to make sure and got the same answer from all
 

Something is strange about that... I booked all of our rooms and they are all 3 the same price package. Since there are 2 adults in each room and our daughter will only be 20 months she doesnt need a ticket.

Maybe since I booked all the rooms they got the same price.
 
Can I book an August room for us, and then a June date for my friend? Or do they have to book the same dates (and the same resort??) as us?
 
Im not sure about the other dates but the other resorts, I think should be fine. I called to change our resort and forgot to change the other reservation for my mother and father in law. So I had to call back. Since its a different ressie and has a different ressie confirmation number I dont think it matters.
 
Guys is that a general code or a code with a pin attached to it? I was told I could only rent one room with my code, we did this and wanted to ask for a second room (more family coming) and I was told I could not?:confused3
Could lt me know if this is correct?
 
I called with a PIN code and tried to book 2 rooms. My DH, DD and I for one, and my parents for the other. First CM said,no can do...explained that we had traveled previously as a group...etc.... Thanked him for his time and hung up. Called 5 minutes later, got a delightful woman named Mandy, who merrily booked the two rooms for me.

So, don't know. Is the plan to allow only one room and the booking CM's are just learning that? Dunno. Was I successful because the first call I used my husband's last name, and the second time I used my own which is the same as my parents, the other party? I don't know. But I am pleased as anything to book both rooms for 40% off!!!!

But, to those told no to more than one room, call and talk to someone else!! You might get lucky!!!!
 
The same thing happened to us. First I called and was told no way could I book two rooms with the same pin (even though my children would be split between the rooms with us and my parents, go figure) I thanked them and hung up. When I called back, I was able to book two rooms no problem. The best advice I can say is to keep trying :goodvibes
 
I would love to know the "official" rule on this. It used to be that for FL res. or AP holders that you could get up to three rooms with your discount. This year's AP benefits state that the AP discount can only be applied to one room. So I would assume that the rule is that the discount can only be applied to one room, just like the AP discount, but as with anything since this is a change in policy possibly it is that not all CRO CM's are getting the memo.
 
Some of the confusion may be stemming from the fact that each offer has its own rules. In general, however, PIN offers are typically allowed to have up to 3 rooms per pin code but must be booked for the SAME RESORT and DATES and the person to whom the pin code has been issued is supposed to be traveling. Some of the PIN offers may have exeptions to the normal policies.

FL resident and Annual Passholder rates now require that there be at least 1 adult FL resident (with acceptable proof of residence) or passholder in each room.
 
I have a room booked for my husband and I for the beach club for 10/25-11/1. When I CALLED Disney, the CM I was on the phone with found a pin under my husband's name and applied it for the 40% off - but I never received a postcard or an email (apparently it was emailed to me, but they had the wrong email address...)
I'm so excited for the trip! But tonight I tried calling because the couple we almost always go to Disney with decided they wanted to go as well so I was just trying to find out if it was POSSIBLE for me to add them at the same rate. The CM I was on the phone with made it sound like it was, and she started to get all of their information...and then proceeded to say (out of the blue, without me ever mentioning the pin) that I didn't have a pin under my name so she couldn't give me a pin rate.
Had she just said "no you can't book another room at that special rate" I probably would have been fine - but she totally made it sound like they were going to take away MY pin rate!

Eventually she said the issue was that I needed to give her the pin code for her to book another room, because she wasn't seeing one in my name. I freaked out on her because I never GOT the pin code, but couldn't she tell I obviously had the 40% off rate based on my ressie, and how was I supposed to know the code if they sent it to the wrong address? She admitted that she could tell I had a pin rate but I didn't have a pin.

What?!? Again all she needed to say at this point was "you ca't book another room at this rate" and I would have been happy with the call.
Instead, I started FLIPPING OUT because she made it sound like they were going to take away the rate from me (and my trip is 50% paid off already)

So I got home (where I had access to my ressie #) and logged in to the website just to make sure nothing had changed and I still had my same rate - and it turns out the three digit pin is listed on my confirm.

It's amazing how vastly different your experiences can be depending on what CM you get - the first two I had when booking this trip were PHENOMENAL and this one nearly made me have a heart attack.

ANYWAYS, I know this doesn't really answer the "can you book extra rooms with your pin code rate" question - but just be careful when you call to make CHANGES to your ressie as well!

NO the person with the pin attached to their name must be checked in I believe. Otherwise, we'd be able to give out our pins to our friends here....darn shame. :)

Just FYI, the 3 digit code (which should be three letters) is not your pin. It is a generic promotional code so the system knows what "promo rate" you are entitled to. That 3 digit code must be matched up with a unique number (pin number usually sent in email or postcard) to "unlock the discount".

At least I'm informed now, but...
If I call and get another CM that insists on me giving the PIN, I'm still in trouble. =(
I know what email they were sending the offers to, and I also know that email address doesn't exist anymore. For some reason, some of the CMs have been able to find it attached to my husband's name, and others haven't. But how am I supposed to give them a pin that I was apparently entitled to but never received?
Oh well - thanks for the info, anyways. At least I can be prepared for the CM if they tell me that's not a valid code!
