Anyone know if the parks are decorated for the Holidays as

early as the week of 11/9 -11/13 ? we have three teenaged girls who want to go down together for their sweet 16's and this is the best chance we got to go since all 3 birthdays are seperated through the year . Anyone know if Universal or Disney are decorated at that time yet ? we would love to see either set of parks if they were ready for santa .... Just wondering they want to go to Florida but are not sold on Disney or Universal ... Thanks Guys

That's pretty early of course, but this past season Disney's Magic Kingdom had pretty much everything up by Nov 8, as the first Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party was that day. The not-to-be-missed Osbourne Lights at Disney's Hollywood Studios was also running by that date too. However, it's still too early to tell for this year. You have a chance, so I recommend you watch these boards for the info when it is announced by Disney.

As for Universal, at IoA I can only recall Seussland being decorated much for the holidays. This past season they went up sometime between Oct 29 and Nov 14. The Studios had stuff up by Dec 2, but don't know when they actually appeared. My guess is Uni doesn't decorate until closer to Thanksgiving, as they don't have the MVMCP like Disney does.

Bottom line is that you have an outside shot at the first decorations at Disney, and a smaller chance at anything at Universal, IMO.

Decorations usually go up in early November. Suess Landing and Port of Entry will be decorated when you're there...that's about all that is done at IOA. The Studios will be slowly decorated throughout the month of November.
