Anyone know if Rewards Card can be used to pay annual dues?

I have $400 on a rewards card from my Disney Visa that expires in Dec. We are not planning a trip to the parks before then, and my Disney Store will not sell Disney Dollars with the Rewards Card so I was hoping to use it towards my annual dues.

Anyone ever do this?

Yes! I have done this myself. I think it's an excellent use of the rewards to apply them towards your dues. That frees up other funds that you can use for anything you want, not just for something Disney-related.

As Lisa said, yep absolutely you can do this. You then have a choice of how to pay off the balance of the dues (if there is one)

1) pay off in lump sum w/ credit card and get rewards on that amount
2) have the balance drafted out of your checking account over 12 months

Yep! Just did it...actually only a partial pymnt in Reward Points & charged the rest to my Dis Visa!!! More points & paid off dues now for the year!

another option is to use your points to buy an AP voucher & hold onto it until your visit!

You need to physically call Member Accounting to do this. It's the same number as Member Services, you just pick a different option. But there's no actual setup on DVCMember.com that will work.

We do it every year.
